Sara Kerr, RD, LD

Founder, Artist & Dietitian

My goal when I formed this group was to create a community of Dietitians who are working on blending our creative interests with our knowledge of science to communicate nutrition to the public through art, design, and video.

In addition, I want to create a hub where fellow dietitians and healthcare professionals can find collaboration partners who value and want to work with our creative skills.

1 Be kind and courteous

We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.

2 No hate speech or bullying

Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.

3 Respect everyone's privacy

Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should stay in the group. If creations are for your client, it is expected that you have permission to share the work publicly. If necessary, please change identifiable information before posting.

4 No promotions or spam

Self-promotion and spam aren't allowed. Links to work is allowed with the intent of gaining feedback, and hearing critiques of work. Example: Generic posts such as "Check out my latest product! I'd love your feedback" with a link to your shop, is not acceptable. Please structure posts in a way that elicits specific feedback about an aspect of your project. Example: "My latest video on vitamin C foods. Would love feedback about the flow of the editing. Does it keep you engaged?"
